Deven is a film director, editor and photographer with extensive experience in music videos, documentaries, narrative short films and commercial work. Currently based in LA, he has lived in China and Taiwan for over 8 years. He speaks fluent Mandarin and has worked with many clients and brands from the Asia region.

Coming from a writing background, Deven loves to approach projects from the ground up, working with clients and artists to craft a narrative and find the most compelling way to bring their message or vision to the screen. In addition to directing, he also has taken on many projects solely as a videographer or editor, and he has skills in many areas of the production process.

He grew up an avid musician and writer, and has worked on many music-related projects in the film/photography world. This includes international artists such as KSHMR, Rae Sremmurd, Honne, Smrtdeath and Taiwanese artists such as Marz23, Dizparity and Jocelyn Wang.

Deven is also a specialist in lifestyle and portrait photography, focusing on vibrant, edgy imagery that allows his subjects to stand out in the best way possible.

With a background in producing as well, Deven has the practical skills to take a project from the conceptual stage all the way through completion, and will work with clients on budgeting, storyboarding, location scouting and project completion timelines.
